Rural Health on Wheels plans to operate as a nonprofit foundation dedicated to restoring access to quality healthcare across America’s rural and underserved communities. Our mission is to bridge the gap between distance and care by bringing advanced medical services directly to the people who need them most — wherever they live.

Through a dual approach combining mobile hospital trains that periodically visit rural towns to provide imaging, diagnostics, and surgical services, and Smart Clinic Vans equipped with satellite-connected to hospital medical call center systems, we deliver life-saving medical attention and specialist consultations right to the doorstep.

We are driven by the belief that no American should be denied timely healthcare because of where they live. By uniting innovation, compassion, and mobility, Rural Health on Wheels brings 21st-century medicine to 20th-century rail lines and country roads — revitalizing the house-call tradition for the modern era.
